Rush
Rush is a series of events held by our chapter to find UB SPPS students that are interested in joining the Beta Tau chapter. It's a good opportunity for both brothers and potential initiates to enjoy themselves while getting to know each other. At the end of rush the brothers decide which potential initiates will receive a bid to pledge.
Fall 2016 Rush Events:
Pledging
Pledging occurs after rush is over and potential initiates have accepted their bids. Throughout pledging the pledges will be educated by the WMA and WIG in the ways of the fraternity. Throughout pledging there are weekly meetings that the pledges are encouraged to attend. During this time the pledges will get to know all of the brothers of the fraternity in addition to the chapter's history, founding brothers and values. Once the pledging process is completed the pledges will be initiated into the fraternity and become brothers.
